1. Deep clean your dishwasher on your move in day! Why? No one wants to use a dishwasher that has months of buildup from previous owners. There are tons of products that you can purchase off the shelf at your local store that are meant to deep clean your dishwasher when you run it through a regular cycle.
2. Change the toilet seats. That should be enough said about that. Unless you know that the toilet is brand new, such as if you are moving into a new construction, just go ahead and change this. A toilet seat is a few extra bucks that can give you peace of mind.
3. If the shower curtain was left behind, toss it and go buy a new one. You can get a shower curtain for $10 or even less, and it is one way to make sure your new home is super clean!
4. Scrub the bathtubs! It does not matter if they look clean, go ahead and clean them yourself. A helpful tip: Many people opt to get some foaming wash for their tubs, let it sit for a few minutes to ensure that it cleans nicely!
