Keeping Your New Home Spotless: Cleaning Tips to Help

We focus so much on getting our home clean to be sold, that we often neglect cleaning when we first move into a home. However, we want to provide you with a few tips that you can do that are going to help keep your new home as clean as it was when you first moved in, so you always have that brand-new feeling here!
What You Should Be Doing Every Day
Every day you should be:
- Cleaning the countertops in the kitchen and bathroom
- Remove clutter from rooms and put it where it needs to go
- Clean the dishes
- Sweep floors quickly
- Make the bed
- Be sure to remove any wet towels from the floor
What to do Once a Week
Every week, you should be:
- Laundry…more often if you have a bigger family
- Mop floors
- Vacuum floor
- Clean the bathroom (toilets, showers, etc.)
What to do Once a Month
Once a month to keep your new home great, do these things:
- Dust the air vents, baseboards and other items that are often missed
- Clean the oven and the microwave
- Clean out the refrigerator and wipe this down
What to Done Once a Season
Once a season you are going to want to these items to keep your home looking and feeling its best:
- Wipe down the blinds in the home
- Wash curtains
- Clean out the closets to keep these organized
