A recent moving trend that has been seen in the past year or so, is more people moving into the suburbs. Why is this? More people are finding that affordable housing is found in these suburbs compared to city living. A few years ago, the opposite was true with many people moving into the city as the cost of living was lower. However, as the economy bounces back, city living is becoming more expensive. This trend is something that many analysts believe will continue throughout 2017 and into 2018.

2. Always think about your commute to work. One mistake that many people make is that they find this perfect home in the suburbs, but they increase their commute to work so far it becomes a financial burden to drive this far.
3. For those who are moving into these suburbs with kids, check the local schools and what is offered here. You will want your child to have a great school, along with activities to entertain themselves with.

Those who do move to the suburbs from the city often find that this is a big adjustment. They are accustomed to having everything within walking distance. However, now, they may have to drive to the grocery and entertainment. Don’t let this throw you off moving into a community though!
